Happy Solstice to everyone!
Summer has officially arrived, although I always celebrate its coming at the first of the month, the meteorological summer, it feels like it stretches out the season that way. But the solstice is different. It’s enchanting, the light and the fireflies, the magical moment du crépuscule that lingers and one is sure the fairies are dancing.
I’m taking a few days off while I battle a touch of vertigo. What a thing! Computer work is a bit challenging. But I offer up a few shots my husband and I took as gradual twilight descended last night on the longest day. It was a beautiful night, and all the peepers and crickets were in full song. Enjoy these long days, I know the garden certainly is.
